The harness has an adjustable belt (2) that is made of supple material. It is closed by strips of hooked pile fasteners and has a pad underneath. A support (5) for the shell (1), in which the child is held, is fixed to the belt. A part (3) reinforced with ribs is fixed to the belt. Snap hooks (7) fix shoulder straps (6a, 6b) to rings (4, 8) on the belt and the support.
