PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound electrochemical element of high reliability which is superior in sealing characteristic, even under a high-temperature and high- humidity environment. SOLUTION: This element comprises an element unit 11 which is, impregnated with an electrolyte, constituted by winding a pair of electrodes and a separator, a cylindrical metal case 13 with a bottom which contains the element unit 11, an elastic sealer 14 which seals up an opening part of the metal case 13, and an anode side metal lead wire 12a and a cathode side metal lead wire 12b which are, connected to the pair of electrodes, drawn outside through the elastic sealer 14. Here, between the anode side metal lead wire 12a and the cathode side metal lead wire 12b, a resin coating layer 15 of electrically insulating characteristic is provided on the surface, at least of a part of the cathode side metal lead wire 12b which makes contact with the elastic sealer 14, the resin coating layer 15 is constituted with a denaturated polyolefine resin of adhesive characteristic, while the resin coating layer 15 is constituted with a rubber denaturated hydrocarbon resin. |
