PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a large amount of data processing independently of the data capacity of a medium, to eliminate the chance of loss or damage of an intermediate medium such as a card key and to improve reliability. SOLUTION: The proposed system is provided with an operation computer 11 for executing data processing for checkout adjustment, a checkout adjuster 14 to be directly operated by a customer, a connection means 13 for connecting the computer 11 to the adjuster 14, and a data converter 12 for converting data into a form allowing both the computer 11 and adjuster 14 to mutually utilize data. The computer 11 and the adjuster 14 can exchange data without requiring an intermediate medium such as a card key. |
