PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and also fast indicate a three-dimensional shaped model in a CAD system, etc., by utilizing a projected image of a three-dimensional space which is projected on plural two-dimensional projected surfaces with plural view points as reference to decide an indication object. SOLUTION: A position indicating means 1 consists of a three-dimensional mouse which indicates an optional position in a three-dimensional virtual space that is created in a computer through a cursor indication, etc. An image projecting means 2 projects a three-dimensional shaped model in the three-dimensional space on plural two-dimensional projection surfaces. A relative position calculating means 6 calculates the relative position of a projected image of a shape element and a projected image of a cursor indication point in each two-dimensional projected surface when an interference checking means 5 decides that the projected image of a cursor indication point which is projected by the means 2 interferes with the image of the three-dimensional shaped model. A data processing means 7 seeks an indication object based on the relative position of a projected image of a shape element and an projected image of the cursor indication point on each two-dimensional projected surface which is calculated by the means 6. |
