PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately stop a recording medium at a separation position and appropriately separate it by controlling a doublesided carrying, unit so that carrying speed in the case of carrying the recording medium from a standby position to the separation position may be lower than processing speed. SOLUTION: When a copying start button is turned on, a setback motor 188 is driven through a motor driver 189 so that 1st and 2nd setback rollers may be rotated at the half speed of the processing speed, and recording paper is carried from the standby position to the separation position at the half speed of the processing speed. The leading edge of the recording paper is detected by a separation sensor 196 and the copying start button is turned on, the 1st and the 2nd setback rollers are rotated at a specified distance and stopped. A DC controller 300 controls the 1st and the 2nd setback rollers, so that the recording paper is accurately stopped and separated at the separation position, and plural sheets of recording paper are prevented from being simultaneously carried to an image forming part. Therefore, jamming and miscopying caused by the doublesided carrying unit are prevented. |
