PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device where a difference between a required time calculated after changing a paper size and the required time actually taken is corrected and the accuracy of the required time calculated is improved by installing a correcting means or the like performing the correction of the required time of image forming operation calculated by a calculating means in the case of detecting a change in the paper size. SOLUTION: A detected signal for the image forming operation 31 outputted by a detecting part 40 is inputted to a controller 32. The controller 32 is provided with the calculating means 50 to obtain the required time of the image forming operation by calculation and the correcting means 51 performing the correction of the required time of the image forming operation calculated by the calculating means 50, other than each control. Then, in the case that the change in the paper size used is detected by a paper size detecting means 41, when operation is temporarily interrupted by detecting the using-up of paper by a detecting means for the using-up or paper 42 during the operation and the operation is restarted, the correction of the required time calculated after restarting the operation is executed. |
