<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain resin compsn. which shows excellent surface smoothness, transparency and resin strength without decreasing offset resistance, fixing property and stability, and which is suitable to be used as a high resolution full-color toner including a monocolor toner without causing filming. SOLUTION: This resin compsn. consists of a resin prepared by adding a crosslinking agent having >=10 carbon atoms in one molecule by 0.1 to 10 wt.% to the vinyl copolymer described below. The vinyl copolymer consists of styrene monomers and (meth)acrylate monomers and has the mol.wt. peak ranging 3×10<3> to 3×10<4> by GPC (gel permeation chromatography). In the mol.wt. distribution of the copolymer, the amt. B of a high mol.wt. component with >=5×10<4> mol.wt. based on 100 amt. of a low mol.wt. component with <5×10 mol.wt., and the value A obtd. by calculation of the mol.wt. peak in the high mol.wt. component×10<-4> satisfy the relation of -4B+110>=A>=-4B+60.</p> |
