The invention refers to a multipurpose device for cutting, carving, digging, locksmithing and mounting operations, as well as fire fighting interventions, which can be operated safely. The multipurpose device consists of a hatchet-type blade [1] with a hammer head [2] connected to it, a strap [5], in whose orifice [b] a blocking button [6] may slide, connected to the other side of the hatchet-type blade [1] by means of an elastic blade [7] which, in its turn, is fixed to the hatchet-type blade [1] and to a saw blade [13] with a washer [8] and a rivet [9]. A handle [15] with a threaded cap [18] may be fixed in the button [6]. A cutting assembly [B], which is made up of an arm [19] with a handle [20] and a bolt [21] riveted to it, can be installed in the orifice [a] of the hatchet-type blade. A knife assembly [A] is pushed through the orifice [e] with two slits of the handle [15] and the cap [18] is threaded. The shovel type assembly [C] consists of a shovel type blade [22] on which there is an orifice [f] in which a blocking button [23] may slide. This is activated by a spring [24] fixed onto the rib of a fitting [25], which is fixed to the shovel-type blade [22]. The handle [15], on which the cap [18] was threaded, is fixed via the orifice [c] in the blocking button [23].
