PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new improved image forming method and the image forming device capable of preventing the occurrence of the contamination of a background image and equipment by a method which is inexpensive without causing the lowering of a printing speed. SOLUTION: As for the image forming device for rotating a photoreceptor drum 18 which is electrostatically charged at an electrostatic charging position, exposing by an exposure device 16 and transferring developer sticking at a developing position to a recording paper so as to form an image, before starting an image forming operation, the nongrounded photoreceptor drum 18 is exposed, then, the exposure device 16 is initialized, and then, the photoreceptor drum 18 is rotated in the nongrounded state, and after the electrostatic charging position of the photoreceptor drum 18 reaches the developing position, the photoreceptor drum 18 is grounded, then, the electrostatic charging operation of the drum 18 is started at the electrostatic charging position. |
