PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce consumption power with the use of a pulse motor by reducing a source voltage to be fed to the pulse motor when a target position signal agrees with a position information signal of a recording pen. SOLUTION: An input signal 100 is converted to a digital signal at an input circuit 1 and operated at a control circuit 2. A position designation register circuit 12 having the signal input thereto outputs a target position signal for a recording pen. Meanwhile, a movement of the recording pen which is detected at an encoder 15 is counted by a position counter circuit 13, whereby a position information signal is output. The position information signal and the target position signal are compared at a comparator 14, and a deviation signal 101 is output. Based on the deviation signal, a driving circuit 8 generates a driving signal thereby rotating a pulse motor 9 and moving the recording pen so that the position information signal agrees with the target position signal. A source supply circuit 11 reduces a source voltage to be fed to a power down voltage in response to a control signal from a source voltage control circuit 10 confirming the agreement, and decreases consumption power at the pulse motor 9. |
