PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an upper arranged cleaning device capable of keeping high reliability over a large number of image forming times by imparting countertoner repulsiveness to a carrying surface, in a cleaning device for sliding toner scraped with a cleaning member on its carrying surface, so as to carry the toner into a waste toner housing part. SOLUTION: The cleaning device 2 is provided with a cleaner container 3, a cleaning blade 4 as the cleaning member, a supporting plate 13 for supporting/fixing the cleaning blade 4 and a toner scooping sheet 5 and constituted so that waste toner T scraped by the blade 4 slides on its carrying surface R, to be housed into the waste toner housing part, 15 in the cleaner container 3. Then, the carrying surface R on a side not facing a photoreceptor, of the blade 4 is coated with paint made from fluororesin and having the countertoner repulsiveness. |
