PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide superior corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: In the event that this overhead ground-wire is made up so as to accommodate optical fiber within its optical fiber unit tube made of aluminum and made up, such that metallic element wires are stranded on an outer circumference of the optical fiber unit tube, a surface of the outer circumference of the optical fiber unit tube is roughened, such that its surface roughness is 1.0 to 10.0μm and grease is applied to the surface of the outer circumference. Here, settling of grease is improved and a grease film is uniformed by roughing the surface of the outer circumference of the optical fiber unit tube, so that the occurrence of corrosion in the optical fiber unit tube can be prevented.
