PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce data recorded on a disk continuously when plural tracks on a disk are simultaneously reproduced using plural beams by reproducing data by alternately repeating the jumps of the number of tracks more than that of beams in the regular and reverse orders. SOLUTION: An operation that one rotation of readout from the starting track of the data to be replayed, a jump of N+1 tracks in the regular direction, one rotation of readout, a jump of N+1 tracks in the reserve direction and one rotation of readout are conducted successively and an operation that 3×(N-2) tracks in the regular direction are jumped and succeeded by one rotation of readout are repeated until specified data is read or the suspension is instructed by the operation section to readout the specified data of the disk without loss. This time the track 3 is read by the beam R3 at the time of one rotation of readout from the beam group A1. However at the time of one rotation of readout from the beam group A5 it is readout also by the beam R1. Thus when duplicate readout data is stored into memory duplicate fetching of data is avoided by inhibiting the rewriting to memory and overwriting at the address part in the readout data.
