<p>The reamer is designed for reaming of deep holes bored with adrill and is used in mining. It has improved design and higherreliability of the system of bearing fixation which improves thelubrication of the bearings and greatly reduces the penetration ofabrasive material between the supporting surfaces having reliableand easier free revolution of the roller. Reamer (10) consists ofa body with mutiple rollers (1) fitted in special slits fittedalong its periphery and radially inwards from its outer surface.Each slit has a central and two end parts in which a pair ofbearing units (14) are fitted fixed by means of wedge-type blocksfitted to the body by means of fastener screws (15). Multipleseats are machined to the periphery of each roller (11) in whichthe tools are fitted in the form of inserts (12). Each roller (11)has a shaft (13) with two end parts mounted in bearing blocks (14)to which sealing rings are designed. Walls forming a cylindricalgroove (19) and additional walls forming a hole (31) running fromgroove (19) and external surface (30) of shaft (13) are machinedin the shaft (13) of every roller (11). Piston (21) is mountedfreely sliding in groove (19) between one of its external ends andhole (31).
