<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching method without instantaneous interruption that can perform a redundant switching without instantaneous interruption without generating a cell delay in switching even when a delay priority control function is possessed. SOLUTION: A switching method without instantaneous interruption for an asynchronous transmission mode(ATM) communication device is equipped with at least one input interface parts 1, at least one output interface parts 4, an active system switch part 2 and a standby system switch part 3. A sequential switching control cell is transmitted to a plurality of queues corresponding to a delay priority class and an accumulation cell state of the active system switch part 2 and an accumulation cell state of the standby system switch part 3 are coupled per each queue.</p> |
