The invention refers to a voltage detector designed to accurately locate the route of an alternating current conductor, and is made up of two identical electric field sensors (1 and 2). After passing through some amplifiers (3 and 4) and rectifiers (5 and 6), the voltages received by the sensors (1 and 2) are compared by a differential amplifier (7), which controls two flashing indicators (8 and 9) that enable the accurate identification of the conductor's route.
