PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micro-lens base plate without warping and distortion and with good light transmitting efficiency by forming a transparent layer having tensile stress on a transparent base plate surface on a surface side opposite to a surface on which a micro-lens is formed. SOLUTION: As to the micro-lens base plate 1; a micro-lens 3 is conventionally formed on the transparent base plate 2, then a cover glass 5 is stuck through adhesive 4. The transparent layer 6 having the tensile stress is formed on the surface of the base plate 2 on the opposite surface side to the surface on which the lens 3 is formed. Stress occurring on both sides of the base plate is canceled each other, so that the warping of the base plate 1 is eliminated. Light reflection on the surface of the base plate 2 is restrained by forming a light reflection preventing film on the surface of the base plate 2 on the opposite surface side to the surface on which the lens 3 is formed, so that the layer 6 can be the light reflection preventing film. |
