PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which can easily obtain high contrast by variation in voltage applied to its liquid crystal and its manufacture. SOLUTION: This device has three couples of transparent insulating substrates 110 and 120, 130 and 140, and 150 and 160 and also has colored polarizing layers R, G, and B on the transparent insulating substrates 110, 130, and 150 and a polarizing layer on the other surface of the transparent insulating substrate 150, and liquid crystal substance 1 is charged between the substrates 110 and 120, 130 and 140, and 150 and 160. |
