<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly peel a transferred body from a traveling member and to prevent the jamming of the transferred body by forming a large-diameter part and a small-diameter part on a supporting roller on a downstream side in the carrying direction of the transferred body and forming a gap between the traveling member and the transferred body. SOLUTION: The paper P is fed to space between a photoreceptor 1 and a transfer belt 12 and bias is impressed on the belt 12 by a high-voltage power source 15. Thus, a visible image on the photoreceptor 1 is transferred to the paper P, which is fed to a next stage. A driving roller 10 is made of aluminum and grounded and has the large-diameter parts formed at the both ends and the small-diameter part formed at the center part. Therefore, when the belt 12 is laid over the roller 10, it is recessed at the part corresponding to the small-diameter part. When the paper P is carried to the carrying-out end side of the belt 12, the paper P is deformed along the recessed part and the gap is formed between the paper P and the belt 12. Thus, the paper attracting force of the belt 12 is weakened and the paper P is surely peeled from the belt 12.</p> |
