PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a digital video disk so as to increase its FF or FB or even other reproducing speed. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a descrambler 240 for descrambling a data which is read out of a digital video disk, and which is demodulated and error-corrected, and for detecting a navigation pack sector from the above data; a navigation interrupt generating part 260 for generating a navigation interrupt signal when the detection of the navigation pack sector by the descrambler 240 is sensed; a memory 330 for storing descrambled data; and a disk drive controlling microcomputer 500 for determining the next reproducing position on the disk based on an information, belonging to the navigation pack sector comprises in the descrambled data, obtained by accessing the memory when the navigation interrupt is sensed.
