PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-volume mounting, low cost optical communication network system with a comparatively small scale configuration. SOLUTION: This optical communication network node system is provided with input terminals 111-11n, 1:2 optical branching devices 121-12n, a passing-by optical switching circuit 101, 2:1 photocouplers 151-15n, output terminals 171-17n, a drop optical switching circuit 102, output interfaces 13-1-13-mn, input interfaces 14-1-14-mn, and an inserting optical switching circuit 103. Since various optical switching circuits are separated and only a required switching state is supported, the number of useless optical switching elements are reduced. |
