Compressed gas storage and supply system

The compressed gas supply incorporates a number of small gas bottles accommodated in a magazine. Each bottle has a sealing membrane (5) pierced by a plunger (7) driven by an attached servo drive and released by remote control. The gas is released into an expansion chamber (19) connected to the user system (21) and fitted with a pressure monitor (13). When the pressure drops to a preset level the next bottle is opened via a remote control. The plunger is driven by a gas generator (10-12) fired by a detonator on the top of each bottle or by a solenoid drive.
