<p>The invention concerns a method for searching on a predetermined analysis frequency and inside a cell the source of interference caused by neighbouring cells, consisting in: carrying out (8) multichannel synchronisation on the training sequences of beacon frequencies to determine the number of base stations using the analysis frequency as beacon frequency; in demodulating (10) after spatial filtering the base station identifiers transmitting beacon frequencies on which synchronisation has been carried out; carrying out (14) multichannel synchronisation on the training sequences of traffic frequencies to determine the number of base stations using the analysis frequency as traffic frequency.
