Gardening device for breaking up and airing soil

The gardening device has a stick (1) with a T-handle (2) on top, and a traverse (3) with vertical pricking spikes (4) fixed at its lower end. A lever (6), pivotally attached to the traverse, has a row of breaking-up spikes (8) fixed to its lower side. The pricking and breaking-up spikes are placed parallel when in a resting position. When the upper part of the lever is pushed with the foot, the breaking-up spikes move upwards and are pulled back into position by a return spring (9).
