<p>A device for collecting contaminations in a liquid, especially from a liquid fuel in a tank (1), wherein the contaminations have a density higher than that of the liquid, so that they descend into a collecting means arranged at the tank bottom (6). The collecting means comprises a container (7) which is fastened to the underside of the tank bottom (6) and communicates with the tank (1) through at least one opening (8) located at a radial distance inside of the circumference of the container (7), so as to function as a contamination trap preventing collected contaminations from splashing back to the tank (1).</p> |
