<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical controller with the directory function which selects a machining data file necessary to machine a work by single operation and stores a resulted data file generated as the work is machined by single operation or automatically. SOLUTION: Directories are provided for respective works and machining data files necessary to machine the works and resulted data files generated as the works are machined are stored in corresponding directories. When a work directory specification part 2 specifies an operation directory DIR, a machining data file extraction part 3 extracts machining data files PGF, JBF, and PMF from the work directory DIR and a resulted data file storage part 10 stores the resulted data files RPF and ALF in the work directory DIR. The resulted data file storage part 10 stores the resulted data files RPF and ALF automatically by the update of the work directory DIR.</p> |
