GAS ISOLATION OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease an installation area by reducing the size of a gas isolation opening and closing device in the width direction. SOLUTION: A junction shaft 21 is fitted, which penetrates a partition plate 4 for partitioning a section between an operation device box 3 and a unit body part 1 and makes linear displacement. An output shaft 11 of an operation device 10 is jointed to one end of the junction shaft 21 through the first displacement transmission mechanism 23 which converts rotational displacement into linear displacement, and the other end of the junction shaft 21 is jointed to the rotation operating shaft 8 of a switch through the second displacement transmission mechanism 24 which converts linear displacement into rotational displacement.
