False twister for false twisting and texturising yarns

The holder (10) for the motor (11) in a false twister is secured to the yarn texturising machine to drive at least one of the spindles (32a-32c), which are positioned at the corners of a triangle layout on the spindle holder (30), and they are fitted with friction discs (31). The spindle holder (30) is fitted to the motor holder (10) in a release mounting. A drive belt (16) passes round the motor drive and deflection (14) discs, and the spindle holder (30) has a belt drive disc (33) to be brought into contact with the belt which has a transmission to the three spindles (32a-32c). A lock (34) holds the spindle drive disc (33) against the belt (16) round the deflection disc (14), when the spindle holder (30) is fitted to the motor holder (10).
