Sheet-piling made of positively joined planks joined by capping

The capping is made up of individual plates (3,4) inserted in the sheet-pile planks (1) and permanently joined preferably welded to these with the plate plane normal to that of the sheet-piled wall. The plates may be positively joined to the plate on the adjoining planks so that two boards and their plates make up an assembly group. The positive connection is provided by straps fixed to the adjoining wall boards. The straps (11) are welded to the boards and provided with alternating holes (12) and plug pins (10,13), the positive connections placed on the outer parts of each assembly group.
