This invention relates to a filter for preparation of fruit beverage comprising a filter medium on the basis of metal fibres, whereby the filter medium comprises a possibly multilayered, sintered, isostatically cold pressed metal fibre web. The metal fiber web may also comprise metal powder or an organic or unorganic coating layer.
