Underbody tubing system for e.g. vehicle brake lines and fuel pipes

This original connecting assembly comprises a small diameter metal tube (3), externally resin-coated (4). The outer peripheral surface of the tube resists stone impact and chipping or flaking off. The resin is a thick film which may be continuously cast- or extruded-on. It covers the entire length, with the exception of an end region, left clear to be worked, e.g. to be flared for connection. The tube is connected by a clamping nut mounted on the end region. There is a hard tube or grommet (5) flanged into the tubing nut. This covers the outer resin layer.
