Toroidal plasma vessel production for use in nuclear fusion stellarator
摘要
Production of a toric plasma vessel, having a continuously varying cross-section in the toroidal direction and used for stellarator nuclear fusion, involves assembling individual double-curved surface pieces (FS) formed from several curved parts (T) with the aid of an inner mould having an external face corresponding to the internal contour of the plasma vessel. The curved parts (T) of each surface piece (FS) are welded together at both sides of seating faces formed at right angles to the abutment direction and the surface pieces (FS) are welded together at their corresponding abutting faces by weld seams formed at both sides of their optional seating faces.
