摘要 The simulator simulates the current flowing through elements of an electronic device using a moment method based on reaction formulation. The simulator has a segmenting unit for segmenting the electronic device into elements according to its configuration information. The mutual impedance between segmented elements is calculated, with the assumption that a current flows with a triangular function through the monopoles, by using an approximation equation for the mutual impedance between monopoles. The equation is expressed by a polynomial of order k. The polynomial is derived using exp-jkr, which is approximated by a multiplication of exp-jkr0 and a Taylor series of exp-jk(r-r0), where j is an imaginary number, k is a wavenumber, r is the distance between monopoles, and r0 is a representative distance between monopoles. A simulator determines the current using the moment method, using the mutual impedance between elements.
