The machine pre-crimps and crimps the edge (11) of sheet metal (10) which is supported by a fixed die (14). This has two moving heads, one for pre-crimping (2), the other (3) for crimping, which are displaced in step so that they squeeze the edge of the sheet one after the other and disengage. The heads have a common driving shaft (90) which has a crimping head (100) that is also movable. It is displaced by at least one air piston (1000) so that it squeezes the area (13) of the sheet adjacent to the crimping zone before operation and is disengaged after operation. |
