<p>A film removal mechanism (22) to aid in removing film (34) from a thermal drum processor (20). The film removal mechanism (22) includes a thin, film removal edge (52), which extends longitudinally along the drum surface (38) in a direction generally perpendicalar to the direction of drum rotation (42). At least a portion of the film removal edge (52) contacts the drum surface (38). A mechanism (54) is provided for coupling the film removal mechanism (22) to the thermal drum processor (20).</p> |
