Sealed connecting device between the steam supply pipe and the internal body of the low-pressure stage of a steam turbine

A deformable bellow shaped tubular sleeve (15) has its upper end fixed to the exhaust chest of the low pressure body and its lower end fixed by a connection flange on the steam inlet duct (10) to the low pressure body. The exhaust chest comprises an external annular ring (18) with internal diameter greater than the external diameter of the steam inlet duct. This ring has bores enabling a complementary ring (20) to be fixed to the sleeve by bolts accessible from outside the low pressure casing. A gasket (21) is inserted between the two rings.
