<p>The ski binding heelpiece comprises a sole clip with a solid tubular body (1) articulated around a transverse cam (10) which is part of a solid, U-shaped stirrup (2) belonging to a pivoting plate. The plate is mounted on a slider, along the length of which it can be positioned from behind. The tubular body has a spring (5) working in compression between a piston (6) pushed against the cam and a thrust (7) with an adjusting screw (8). The cam is a cylinder which serves as a rotational axis for the tubular body and has a flat (11) which extends parallel to the axis, so that the piston pushes against it when the heelpiece is closed. The area of the cam that the piston presses against when the heelpiece is open is conformed in such a way that it limits tipping of the tubular body during opening.</p> |
