FIELD: vertical take-off and landing aeroplanes. SUBSTANCE: one or two swivel holders is located near center of mass of aircraft. Jet engines are mounted on these holders. Jet engines may be mounted vertically or at angle relative to each other in plane perpendicular to aircraft axis. Engines are provided with dampers fitted at intakes. Aircraft is provided with tiltable wings. EFFECT: enhanced maneuverability of aircraft due to mounting additional engines on swivel holder. 4 cl, 3 dwg
