FIELD: shipboard nuclear steam generating plants and power plants using pressurized-water reactors. SUBSTANCE: newly introduced pressure-tube adapter 3 is made in the form of two holes 8 and 9 which are blind in direction of its axis and two holes 10 arranged at angle to axis and emerging to side surface on either side of weld 7 joining adapter 3 to beveled external tube 2 over elliptical perimeter. Internal tube 1 is made in the form of coil with bending radius along axis smaller than half its outer diameter. EFFECT: improved power efficiency of heat-exchange element. 3 dwg
