PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch pipe lining material to be easily inverted and inserted into a branch pipe having a bent part and a method for lining the branch pipe using the material. SOLUTION: The method for lining a branch pipe using a branch pipe lining material comprises the steps of coupling a branch pipe lining unit 13 to an operating robot 14 to move it in a main tube 10, supplying compressed air from an air hole 7 into a first sealed space S1 in the state that a collar 3 of the material 1 is brought into close contact with a peripheral edge of an opening of the branch of the tube 10 to invert to insert a start liner 6 from the tube 10 side into the branch pipe 11 toward the ground, towing a towing rope or belt 9 while the space S1 is being pressurized as it is to reversibly invert the lining 1 from its end side to retract it into the liner 6, and pressurizing a second sealing space S2 to cure curable resin impregnated to the material 1 while the material 1 is being pressed to an inner periphery of the branch pipe 11 as it is.
