PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liq. bleaching compsn. which has a high power for cleaning smudges by incoporating hydrogen peroxide, a pH-sensitive thickener, and a surfactant into the same and by imparting, to the same, such characteristics that it exhibits a specified viscosity at a specified pH. SOLUTION: This compsn. comprises 0.01-30 wt.% hydrogen peroxide, 0.01-20 wt.% pH-sensitive thickener (e.g. polyacrylic acid), 0.1-10 wt.% surfactant (e.g. a nonionic surfactant having an 8-24C alkyl or alkenyl group, and the rest being water or a water/lower alcohol mixture. The compsn. is adjusted to a pH of 2-9 with an acidic substance (e.g. hydrochloric acid or citric acid) or an alkaline substance (e.g. sodium hydroxide or sodium carbonate). and its viscosity is 70 cP or lower at a pH of 4 or lower and 100 cP or higher at a pH of 8-10. Pref., the compsn. further contains 0.01-10 wt.% org. peracid precursor (e.g. tetraacetylethylenediamine) which, when reacted with hydrogen peroxide, forms a 2-18C org. peracid, an org. sulfonic acid (e.g. hydroxyethanedisulfonic acid), and a chelating agent (e.g. citric acid). |
