摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition being lowly corrosive to metals, being lowly toxic and having a single melting point, a single freezing point, a low degree of supercooling and improved safety and heat storage capacity by selecting a composition prepared by mixing erythritol with an amino acid compound and having a specified melting point. SOLUTION: 100 pts.wt. erythritol is mixed with 1-120 pts.wt., desirably 5-100 pts.wt., more desirably 10-100 pts.wt. amino acid compound selected among glycine, glycine anhydride, α-alamine, β-alanine and α-alanine anhydride and optionally a supercooling inhibitor such as an inorganic salt such as calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, calcium sulfate, calcium pyrophosphate, aluminum phosphate, silver phosphate, silver chloride or silver iodide or an organic salt of a long-chain fatty acid, such as calcium stearate, magnesium stearate or calcium palmitate to obtain a heat-storage material composition having a melting point of 70-115 deg.C, desirably 100-110 deg.C.
