PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent data from breaking and abnormal data from being written by judging whether the temperature of a non-volatile memory is within a fixed temperature range or not when data is written in the non-volatile memory, and prohibiting to write data in the non-volatile memory when it is beyond the fixed temperature range. SOLUTION: A control device 20 is mounted in an engine room, on an engine main body, on an intake pipe, or the like, input signals from an intake air quantity sensor 2, an engine cooling water temperature sensor 4, a throttle opening sensor 5, and the like are processed by a CPU 21 based on the program and data stored in a ROM 22, and the result is received in a RAM 23, or it controls output signals to an injector 6, an ignition coil 7, an intake air quantity assisting valve 8, and the like. Only when the temperature detected by a temperature sensor 26 detecting the temperature of the control device 20 for automobile makes operation of a non-volatile memory 22 to be in the stable condition, writing of data to the non-volatile memory 22 is allowed.
