发明名称 LIGHT EMITTING BODY ARRAY FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHY
摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable light emitting body array for electrophotography having long lifetime and required resolution in which the brightness of an image to be refocused onto a photoreceptor is increased. SOLUTION: In order to expose a drum or belt photoreceptor 14, an organic light emitting diode(OLED) operable at a low optical level is employed in each light emitting pixel of a light emitting body array for electrophotography. Each light emitting pixel is formed wider in the slow scan direction 24 than in the scanning direction orthogonal thereto. A lens array focuses the image of each light emitting pixel on the photoreceptor 14 while converging the width in the direction 24 to a specified width. Since the quantity of light being converged onto the photoreceptor 14 is not increased due to increase in the width of the light emitting pixel, driving current of the OLED is not increased and the brightness of a refocused image can be enhanced.</p>
