PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily connect a vinyl chloride resin pipe with a polyethylene resin pipe, to surely maintain their connected state to enhance realibility. SOLUTION: This pipe connecting structure has an olefinic resin pipe 1 such as polyethylene resin, which is fitted into the end of a vinyl chloride resin pipe 2 to make a connection, and a reinforcing layer 3 made of a reactive forming material composed chiefly of a norbornene monomer and a metathesis catalytic system is formed to cover the outer peripheral surface 1a, 2a of the pipes 1, 2 at the connection, so that the end of the vinyl chloride resin pipe 2 is sandwiched between the end of the olefinic resin pipe 1 such as polyethylene resin and the reinforcing layer 3. Preferably, a recess 5 covered with the reactive forming material is formed in at least the outer peripheral surface 2a of the vinyl chloride resin pipe 2, and when the reactive forming material is used for covering, the recess 5 is embedded together with the outer peripheral surfaces 1a, 2a of the pipes 1, 2. |
