<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail having simple structure and capable of widening a space such as the passage of a stair. SOLUTION: The handrail 1 has a grip member 2 being grasped by a hand and supporting the body and a support member 3 supporting the grip member 2. At least a part of the grip member 2 is installed in a displaceable manner by a fixed distance in the direction separated from a wall surface 100. A part of the grip member 2 is grasped and pulled in the direction separated from the wall surface 100 and the body is supported. The grip member 2 is attached closely along the wall surface 100 and can be arranged, and a space, in which the handrail 1 is mounted, can be widened. Projecting sections from the wall surface 100 are decreased without further forming recessed sections on the wall surface 100 as seen in conventional devices, and the structure of the handrail 1 can be simplified.</p> |
