PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for sticking a functional film which are contrived for sticking the functional film on a surface to be stuck, without impairing the film. SOLUTION: A functional film 14 is held by a holding surface 13 of a holding plate 12 through the intermediary of a porous sheet 20. Then, the functional film 14 is brought into contact with one end of a CRT panel surface 16 and the upper side of one end of the porous sheet 20 is pressed by a roller 18 for sticking. Moreover, while the holding plate 12 is moved in the direction parallel to the CRT panel surface 16 and the functional film 14 is pressed from above the porous sheet 20 onto the CRT panel surface 16 by the roller 18, the roller 18 is so moved from one end of the CRT panel surface 16 to the other end thereof as to follow the holding plate 12 and thereby the functional film 14 is stuck on the CRT panel surface 16. Since the holding plate 12 does not come into direct contact with the functional film 14, according to this constitution, usual impairment of the functional film 14 is prevented. |
