PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove the chemical substances such as formaldehyde and VOCs which are reported to generate in newly-built dwellings. SOLUTION: An air conditioner comprises an air cleaning part 7 having a first filter which is provided in the vicinity of a first air inlet 6 and traps particle-like substances, a second filter 2 to adsorb the chemical substances, a first fan 3 provided on the downstream side of two filters, a sensor 4 to detect the substance sucked from the first air inlet 6, an air outlet 5 provided on the downstream side of the first fan 3, and a control circuit 9 to control the air volume and the operation time of the fan 3 based on the information from the sensor 4, and a gas combustion device 13 provided through a heat insulation means. |
