PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reconstructing apparatus which enables shortening of time required for reconstruction processing with respect to an interest region without lowering the quality of picture. SOLUTION: This apparatus is so arranged to be provided with a first reconstruction processing part 7 to determine an Xray absorption coefficient distribution in an specimen by reconstructing a projection data obtained based on a dose distribution of X rays transmitted through the specimen, an area extracting part 13 to extract an interest region based on the Xray absorption coefficient distribution obtained by the first reconstruction processing part 7, a second reconstruction processing part 15 to determine the X-ray absorption coefficient distribution within the interest region with higher resolutions than those of the first reconstruction processing part 7 and a display part 25 to display the X-ray absorption coefficient distribution obtained by the second reconstruction processing part 15 as image. |
