<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such an ornament mounting structure as being capable of mounting an ornament with high stability in mounting without decreasing the designability of a cover when the ornament is mounted on the door of the cover covering an air bag for an air bag device. SOLUTION: An ornament 21 is fixed at its leg 23 to a door 14 with a rivet 30 mounted through a mounting hole 23c in the leg 23 and a through-hole 16 in the door 14 on the back of the door 14 in the condition that the rivet 30 is inserted from the surface of the door 14 of the cover 10 through the through- hole 17. The decorative part 22 of an ornament 21 is arranged to cover the head 30a of the rivet 30 on the surface of the door 14 and the ornament 21 is mounted on the door 14.</p> |
